Testing & Compliance Standards
All applicable inflatables supplied by Prestige are annually inspected under the PIPA testing scheme, while amusement rides and fairground attractions are inspected through the ADIPS inspection programme.
These inspections help ensure equipment continues to meet recognised industry standards for safety and operation.
In addition, we carry £5,000,000 public liability insurance covering equipment and installation activities.

Important Inflatable Safety Guidelines
To help ensure safe operation, customers hiring inflatable equipment should follow these important guidelines at all times:
• Adult supervision is required at all times.
• Users should remove shoes, jewellery, badges and sharp objects before entering.
• Food, drinks, chewing gum and sweets should not be taken onto inflatables.
• Face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers and silly string must not be used on or near inflatable equipment as they can cause permanent staining.
• Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls and safety barriers is dangerous and must not be allowed.
• Large and small users should not use the inflatable together where there is a significant difference in size or age.
• Maximum user numbers displayed on the inflatable must always be observed.
• Pets are not permitted on inflatable equipment.
• Users must not bounce on entrance steps as these are designed for safe entry and exit only.
• Users should not be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation.
• Anyone suffering from neck problems, back problems or pregnancy should not use inflatable equipment.
Weather & Equipment Operation
Weather conditions can affect inflatable use. During periods of heavy rain, strong winds or adverse weather conditions, equipment may need to be temporarily closed until conditions improve.
Wet surfaces can become slippery and increase the risk of accidents. If an inflatable becomes wet, it should be dried before further use where possible.
Blowers and electrical equipment should remain clear of obstructions and must never be tampered with during the hire period.
Should a blower stop working or a power failure occur, all users should leave the inflatable immediately and Prestige should be contacted as soon as possible.
Customer Responsibilities
The hirer is responsible for ensuring equipment is used correctly throughout the hire period and that all safety instructions supplied by Prestige are followed.
Proper supervision, sensible behaviour and adherence to user limits play a major role in maintaining a safe environment for everyone involved.
The person or organisation hiring the equipment is responsible for any damage or injury arising from misuse, reckless behaviour or failure to follow the safety instructions provided.
Documentation Available for Event Organisers
For schools, councils, corporate clients and event organisers, we can provide supporting documentation including public liability insurance certificates, risk assessments, method statements and applicable testing certificates where required.
Our team regularly works alongside event management companies and venue operators to help ensure a smooth approval process before event day.
